• Build and support AIX servers in many configurations

• Design and support all open systems infrastructure with on-call duty for problem resolution and disaster recovery
• Built and support Nagios monitoring system which monitors over 150 systems and has outlasted two commercial products to provide stable servers and applications with high availabilities
• Migrated homebrewed BIND/ISC DHCP system to BlueCat Networks' Adonis based DNS/DHCP system with no downtime
• Designed and built a public FTP server cluster (with RHEL & Cluster Suite) with web front end to facilitate large, outgoing file transfers and automated file uploads and downloads
• Designed and implemented a PHP/MySQL based asset tracking system with rack views to keep track of server inventory
• Migrated ancient PeopleSoft architecture to AIX LPARs to provide better performance through resource sharing
• Implemented custom knowledge base software to keep tabs on important information and Samba server to keep files
• Multiple awards won for excellent service.

• Gather and verify personal and insurance information from patients for in/outpatient hospital procedures
